Issue #13 - Creativity for Creativity’s Sake? - part 2
A conversation about Creativity and A.I.
Look, I don’t have a problem with A.I.
Or selfies. Or video for that matter. What I DO have a problem with is complacency and trend chasing. Doing something just because it’s the hot thing that seems to be working NOW.
I have a problem with people who just do “whatever works, man” and have the audacity to call it “ideal”. Or, even worse, they call it creativity.
Hence, I’ll share with you my own take on the matter. Did we really need a second episode on creativity?
I guess we did.
My talk with Daniel Furfaro
The wonderful Mister Daniel Furfaro♟ wanted to discuss the relationship (or lack thereof) between creativity and A.I.
And I showed up.
So, after a couple of open and friendly disagreements, we recorded a little something.
You’re looking at 30 minutes where we dissect:
The relationship between Creativity and A.I.
What is Creativity for me
What’s my framework for Creativity (spoiler, I don’t have one. Just a philosophy)
The way A.I. can be used, but why I don’t use it
The nature of A.I.
I don’t usually show my face around here that much, since it is writing that does the job, not my mug. But, if you want to see me and hear my thoughts on creativity, this is your best shot.
Enjoy:
I wanted to say “have to bite them in the ass” but fate cut me off :)).
Going forward
This issue was very visual, I know. You’re still reeling from the above… But we’re going forward.

It (always) pays to consider the rest of the saying
Next episode, I’m talking about misunderstood marketing clichés and what makes them so wrong. If you want to respond to my challenge, I encourage you to write to me, and add your marketing/writing cliché to the list.
So far, we have this:
KISS
Write for a 5th grader
Short is good, long is bad
Quality versus quantity
Copy sells
Copy sells, content educates
My audience is everyone
Write for an audience, not for yourself
The riches in the niches
Storytelling is KING
If you can think of any others that you want debated, I’m all ears. Well, bespectacled eyes mostly, but you get the gist.
In the meantime
If you liked my stuff, this is how we can work together:
I write for you. Check out the Experience section on my LinkedIn

Reader testimonial
Cris (hey, Cris!) is a devoted reader of B00ls, and he took me up on my offer for Consultancy. We chatted for 60 minutes and this is what he had to say about the experience:
I’ve been telling it straight to people since 1994. Recently, I’ve been doing it for business purposes too. If you think you need my help, and a dose of B00ls straightforwardness, you know where to find me.
Cheers
If this was the first, but also last time we meet: Thank you.
I write for myself, but you watching (this time) my video gives it additional meaning. I literally could not resonate without you.
Oh, should I do more video content? Let me know.
